I love working on the tweed fabric included in this, and most other, Rowandean kits, and the variety of threads and yarns included gives a wonderful range of textures even before the addition of beads and sequins. I especially enjoyed creating the beautiful cockleshells, using a deceptively simple but effective technique and the finished piece looks impressive. As always with Rowandean, the opportunities for personalisation and improvisation made this a truly unique project to undertake. The inclusion of the mounting hoop made this particularly good value for money and I have beads, sequins and organza left over to use on other projects.
